Through the Looking Glass
April 2014 Update -
During recent months there have been 2 new Heritage Plaques erected.
One to commemorate Bellingham House is located on a brick pillar near the corner of
Bellingham Lane & the High Street and was erected in 2013.
The other is to commemorate the fire station and is located on the Cedar Centre
in Castle Road and was erected earlier this year.
In addition to these new plaques the plaque on the WI Hall in Bellingham Lane
has been replaced as it had suffered bad weathering and was difficult to read.
6 other plaques around the High Street are also scheduled to be replaced during 2014.
